(EDIT: This post was originally about an amazing deal from Amazon. Recently Amazon offered the films again in a boxed set for $95, and some of the ‘Lowry’ Bond films have already been announced for release on BluRay later in the year.)

I’m going to post this as quickly as possible, and I’ll continue to update it.

THIS IS A VERY LIMITED OFFER FROM AMAZON.COM! Get all four Ultimate James Bond DVD sets for $125! (Retail price per set is $99!) (Sorry, but the deal has expired… I recommend you buy them anyway! You deserve these discs at any price!)

I’ll update this page with the specifics, but in short, BETTER THAN THEATRICAL QUALITY (TO THOSE WHO KNOW, LOWRY/DTS DIGITAL!)!, EACH FILM A 2 DISC SPECIAL EDITION, LOWEST PREVIOUS PRICE WAS $50 PER BOX FOR A TOTAL OF $200.

DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY! (I ALREADY PURCHASED THEM FOR $200 MYSELF, AND I LOVE THEM).

Okay… Why?

BECAUSE THE FILMS ARE CLEANER AND SHARPER THAN THEY HAVE EVER BEEN BEFORE, INCLUDING THEATRICALLY! How is this possible? How can you have BETTER picture quality than what was shown in theaters? I’ll tell you… read on…

As I’ve mentioned before on the Podcast, there is a remarkably talented man named John Lowry. Early in his career, he was a visual enhancement specialist for NASA. He would take space telescope images and sharpen and enhance them from a soft fuzzy image to amazing quality. A number of years later he realized that this same technology, using image data that is usually invisible to the naked eye, but is actually recorded in the image when photographed, would be an amazing enhancement and benefit to the film industry. Just imagine, movies BETTER than theatrical. (His technology also STABILIZES and CLEANS the image to remove dirt and photographic flaws).

Flash forward… John’s system has been used on many classic films and the results are stunning. John has been so successful that his company Lowry Digital Images was purchased by DTS, and is now DTS Digital Images with John still there.

Here are just a few examples of the films John has worked on:

STAR WARS
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
RETURN OF THE JEDI
RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK
INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM
INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE
NORTH BY NORTHWEST
SUNSET BOULEVARD
WHITE CHRISTMAS
and most recently:

ALL 20 OF THE JAMES BOND FILMS, EXCLUSIVELY IN THIS COLLECTION!

In addition to the film’s image quality, each of the films feature DTS audio tracks, audio commentaries, and UNLIKE THE SEPARATE FILM RELEASES-each film has a bonus disc of special features! Without a doubt, this is not a case of ‘double-dipping’ the public, this is a REMARKABLE AND CONSIDERABLE improvement over ANY previous release of the films. Here is an example of the quality improvement. Notice how the previous release of License to Kill looks fuzzy and without detail, then look below at the Lowry version.

Here’s the Lowry version:

There is no comparison. The best picture ever, with the best sound ever, in the best collection…ever… for the best price… ever. Grab the set while you can! $125.00 with free shipping… how can you go wrong?
