I AM the Amazing Spiderman! Marvel Spoonfeeds Your Kid’s Imagination for $40
We, the Fools, caught up with our friends over at Marvel Comics and they gave us a glimpse at what $40 bucks can buy your kid when all imagination fails. “I Am the Amazing Spider-Man,” available for $39.95 through PixFusion’s Kideo brand Web site (www.kideo.com), joins other current titles Dora the Explorer, Care Bears, Baby Genius and Arthur. We’re not sure whatever happened to “let’s pretend to be…” adventures many of us, out of necessity, invented as a young child, but a nice spoon feeding may be just what it takes to spark some activity in the ‘ol right lobe.
PixFusion takes a child’s color photo sent by e-mail or via regular mail and transforms it into a 25-minute action-packed adventure based on “Spider-Man ” and starring the featured child as the “web-slinger” himself, battling many of the legendary Spider-Man™ villains such as Electro and Lizard. The customized DVD also contains exciting bonus features, including educational content and a music video set to the classic theme song from the 1960s animated cartoon with the child swinging into action “Spidey Style.”

“With all of the attention on Spider-Man, we will be able to provide children and fans the unique opportunity to watch themselves star as Spider-Man,” said Marc E. Jaffe, PixFusion CEO. “Every Spider-Man fan has dreamt of being the web-slinger, and our video allows that transformation to happen.
Well, God bless you Marc Jaffe, for being our very own radio-active spider! Who needs imagination? You’ve given us what we’ve been waiting for now for over 40 years. We owe you big.
