Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You sniffed my DVDs. Prepare to die.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 (Reuters) - Malaysian movie pirates have put a bounty on the heads of two sniffer dogs who busted a fake DVD ring with a seizure of discs worth about $3 million, media and officials said on Thursday.Lucky and Flo, two female black Labradors deployed by Malaysian authorities in their crackdown on pirated movie DVDs and music CDs, carried out their first major successful operation in Johor state on Tuesday.

In a move that I would more likely believe has to do with who is and who isn’t being paid for their appearance on the “William Shatner Roast” DVD, Leonard Nimoy’s segment where he and Bill have an argument about Bill doing the roast has been censored on this ‘extended and uncensored’ DVD!

Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner (Uncensored) It’s only $14.99 at Amazon!
While the back does read, “over 20 more minutes of Shatner Skewering,” it doesn’t quite say that content was removed. There is a notice that “Music and content have been changed for this DVD from the broadvast version,” but nowadays when someone says EXTENDED & UNCENSORED they don’t mean Original broadcast shortended & censored… before adding footage.
Notably missing is this pivotal segment from the original broadcast. I’ve been through this before. So much opportunity for money to change hands, and the focus is lost. While no one ever got rich on good intentions, it really is disappointing when a show is missing a segment from broadcast, especially one as memorable as Leonard’s appearance.

Okay… George Lucas is at it again! He’s modified Star Wars! When is he going to stop!?!Oh… Sorry… Personally, I thought that this was hilarious, even if it is sacrilegious.

Let the teasing begin… Obviously we’re going to have Star Wars marketing the United States Postal Service. The new website USPSJediMaster.com is up and running.
Take a look at the teaser trailer. More…

The dog named Lucky and Flo, are the world’s first dogs trained to find optical discs in packages and containers used by pirate syndicates for smuggling stolen movies around the world.

…well almost… (or did they see the prequels?)
You see, the USPS has new mailboxes… or shall I say ‘mail-droids’? Images have leaked of the United States Postal Service’s new mailboxes that feature ‘R2-D2′ as the mail box, and the USPS has rules against anyone who is still alive being represented on stamps. Well, there’s now a rumor that this is going to be the year of Star Wars stamps too! I would assume the rules would also govern a person or characters use as a promtional mailbox as well. (Wouldn’t that be even more exposure? Why would a rule govern stamps but not other aspects of the United States Postal Service? Oh yeah… Money.)

(KUDOS to TheForce.Net for their scoop on the photos of these mailboxes. Click this link for more great photos of the mailboxes.)First and foremost… I really enjoy the idea of these mailboxes, and would love to own one… Uhhh… See my ‘R2-D2 Collectable?’ message at the bottom…
